Lipid Panel (Complete Cholesterol Panel)

A lipid panel test is a kind of simple blood test that provides complete picture of the amount of total cholesterol, LDL (low-density lipoprotein) and HDL (high-density lipoprotein present in unit deciliter of the blood. It is very important to diagnose your risk factor of getting heart disease. As for LDL the normal report should range between 100 mg/dl-129 mg/dl while for HDL it should be 40-60 mg/dl.
